Taylor & Francis

23 February 2010

Taylor and Francis contacted Direction as they needed to archive over 90,000 book titles. These books needed to be sorted, the book title, author & ISBN data captured, catalogued, and then stored in a suitable environment. On an ongoing basis, each book should be available for Taylor & Francis to recall & have distributed to the required recipient.

All the books were sorted, indexed, catalogued and stored. The books were put in specialist crates, to ensure they remained in a damp-proof environment, and by the request of the client, were stored away from the light. All 90,000 titles were archived quickly and accurately and within the required timescales.

This is an extremely active archive, with regular requests for books to be removed and sent as requested by the client, and then returned to Direction to be stored.
